ORMA

INSPIRATION OF THE COLLECTION

By naming this collection Orma, the Italian translation of the word “footprint”, we wanted to pay tribute to this ancestral know-how. The first watermark was identified on a paper made in Italy in 1282. Before it became a goldsmith technique (small intertwined gold threads that form a kind of embroidery), it was above all a discreet imprint in writing paper that can only be distinguished by putting the said paper facing the light. A jewel is passed on, crosses eras and generations, leaving its mark. Timelessness is therefore the key word for the creations that make up this collection.
