“ See life in pink " : more than just an expression, it's a true state of mind.
Being optimistic, cheerful and joyful makes life more beautiful. A blend of the passion of red and the purity of white, the color pink symbolizes love, affection and compassion. It evokes feelings of comfort, warmth and hope. Pink is also a sign of good health, success and happiness.
HISTORY
If the month of October reminds us of the beautiful colors of autumn and the slightly cooler temperatures, but it also allows us to honor a case close to our hearts. For one month each year, millions of women unite in the fight against breast cancer.
Since 1985 in the United States, Pink October has been an awareness-raising campaign to promote breast cancer screening. The American Cancer Society and the British company Imperial Chemical Industries are behind the initiative.
In France, the first campaign saw the light of day in 1994, when the Estee Lauder France group and Marie-Claire joined forces to create the association “ Let's talk about breast cancer !”. In 2020, the association changed its name to “Pink ribbon”.
Why pink ? Synonymous with feminism, joy and gentleness, this color is in perfect opposition to cancer.

ACTIONS
Since 2022, Charlet has been proud to support the RoseUp association which informs, supports and defends the rights of women affected by all types of cancer.
